These rules will be handled out to each student on their first pickup

Van Rules:

• Be ready and wait on the van 5 mins prior to the assigned pick up time. The van will pull up to your house, beep,  wait 2 mins and then will leave. Please be waiting. We can not wait extra time for your student to get ready.

• Sit in assigned seat

• Buckle seat belt

• No food or drink permitted on van

• No swearing or offensive language

• Keep hands and personal objects to yourself

• no smoking/vaping

Consequences to breaking van rules

• First offense: The student will be given a verbal warning.

• Second offense: The parents and school will be notified of the offense.

• Third offense: The student, parent, and school will receive a written warning.

• Fourth offense: The student will not be permitted to ride the van for 1-3 school days depending on the severity of the offense. Students, parents and school will all be notified prior to actions taken.

• Too many suspensions will result in loss of van privileges for the remainder of the school year.

**If warranted, a student may be subjected to suspension with only 1-2 warnings. 

**Violent or Sexual behavior will not be accepted on the vans. These behaviors will result in immediate removal and suspension from the van.

**If you are not home for afternoon drop off your student will be returned to their school for you to pick up. If you would like to send a note for your student, allowing them to be dropped off without a parent or guardian present, you may do so the first day of school. We must have a paper copy of the note. 

We are looking forward to this school year. Open and honest communication is a value we believe in and we hope to utilize it with all of you. We will be prompt and on time and appreciate that you will be as well.
