About the team:

We have a team of only the best individuals who are not only experienced in the field of transportation but experienced in the transportation of behavioral and handicapped students. We believe that every student deserves the right to safer and efficient transportation to and from school. All drivers are independently contracted through Templeton Transportation. Drivers are state certified with ODE are insured (along with the vehicles) and have undergone a BCI background check.

Drivers:

• Each Drivers is ODE state certified.

• Drivers are considered independent contractors, who are contracted through Templeton Transportation.

• Drivers are required to get yearly inspections on their vehicles.

• Drivers are required to get yearly physicals.

• Drivers are subjected to random drug testing.

• Drivers have a BCI done when certified.

• Drivers drive their own personal vehicles with specialty insurance that covers students.

• Individual drivers will add your district as an additional insured.

• Drivers are professionals and have experience in the field of transportation as it pertains to behavioral students.

• Parents have the ability to call or text the drivers if there are issues or concerns, noting that drivers won't receive a call or text while driving.

• Drivers are reliable and know that if they can’t show up, we are responsible for getting their route covered.

• Drivers specialize in behavioral students.

Vehicles:

• Drivers will supply the vehicles necessary to complete the services agreed upon. The vehicles will adhere to all laws and regulations required by the district.

• Drivers’ vehicles will be marked with a “School Transportation” sign, and independent contractor decals.

• Drivers’ vehicles will be assigned van numbers.

• Drivers' vehicles are not wheelchair accessible.
