I'm Dara Templeton. I own and operate Templeton Transportation. Not only am I a business owner, a proud wife and mother of 4 wonderful children. I know the IMPORTANCE of providing a safe ride to all students, therefore ensuring fair access of education.

A little about me:

I have been in van transportation for 17 years. I was an Akron Public School van driver for 10 years before transitioning to Van Coordinator for Canton City School under their Transportation Director and being solely responsible for managing the contractor van fleet.

Along with an outstanding amount of experience in this field I also have an associate degree in paralegal studies, and a bachelor’s degree in history. My Paralegal Degree, along with my experience gives me a working knowledge of State and City Laws and expectations. My History Degree heightens my aptitude for organization.

My Strengths:

• Communicating efficiently with the bus garage and all associated parties.

• Writing and checking invoices.

• Routing effectively and efficiently. 

• Managing a team of drivers.

• Communicating with Special Education Directors and other school officials.

• Executing, and organizing write ups for issues that occur on the vans.

• Accommodating special requests from both schools, and the bus garage in a quick and efficient time frame.
